The 21st Annual Michigan - Pumpkin Carrying Contest

Entry Form & Rules

When: Sunday September 30th, 2007 from 2-4 pm (winner awarded at 4 pm)

Where: The Country Mill’s U-Pick Station

What: For $10, you keep all the pumpkins that you can carry 10 feet.

How: With any part of your body (arms, teeth, shoulders, neck, etc.)

Why: Creates great family legends.

STEPS:

Print, fill out and bring this form with you the day of the contest.
Borrow a red wagon at the U-Pick station to go to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkins.
Bring your pumpkins back up to the U-pick station.
Turn in this form along with your $10 registration fee.
Have your friends and family load up you up with all the pumpkins that you can carry using your body.*
Walk ten feet.
Keep all the pumpkins that are still in your control.
Pumpkins that are dropped or not carried may be purchased by the pound or left at the U-Pick station.

The person to carry the MOST pumpkins (quantity, not by weight) wins a $50 gift certificate to The Country Mill and a free visit to Davis Chiropractic in Charlotte.

*Pockets, tarps, backpacks, and any other devices not of the natural human body may NOT be used to carry the pumpkins. The $10 registration fee will be paid for each “carry” of pumpkins. An individual may reenter the contest more than once.

As a participant in the Pumpkin Carrying Contest, I agree to the above rules of the contest. Furthermore, I do not hold Country Mill Farms liable in any way for any injury regarding this contest. I also understand that I must be at the U-pick station at 4 pm to accept any prize that I may have earned.
