2014 Schedule of Events

Thursday, July 17thFarmer's Market at the Capital (Downtown Lansing) sponsered by MIFMA. 10am - 2pm.  We'll have all of our goodies.

August: Apple, Peach, Blueberry and Sweet corn picking daily.  Call or check Facebook for exact varieties.  Donuts made fresh daily.  Fresh cider by mid-August.  Tuesday- Saturday 9 am. - 6 pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Saturday & Sunday, August16th & 16th PEACH PARTY!  & BLUEBERRY BONANZA!  Come enjoy everything peachy & blue!  Peaches and blueberries, special donuts, cider slushes, wines, jams, and more.  Enjoy sampling and fun from 11am-3pm.  Also, enjoy some of our fresh picked sweet corn for lunch in our air conditioned eating area.  Sweet corn roast is from 11am-3pm.  Early apple picking along with the farm market is open from 9 am - 6 pm.  Check Facebook or call for Blueberry picking schedule.

Saturday, September 20thThe Michigan Apple Festival is at The Country Mill where you can enjoy everything about apples. Visit www.MichiganAppleFestival.com for the details on all of the fun activities at this year’s Michigan Apple Festival.   Kids Apple Activities- Eaton Great Start in cooperation with Potterville & Charlotte Early Childhood Community Action Teams from noon - 4pm. Applewood Smoked BBQ noon-5pm. The Porters will offer interactive kid music live from noon-4pm. Corn Maze open & Train Rides to the Orchard 1-5 pm. Apple Picking, Petting Zoo, & Pumpkin picking from 9 am- 6 pm.

Sunday, September 21th: The Michigan Apple Festival continues with the sights, smells, and flavors of everything apples. Visit www.MichiganAppleFestival.com for a detailed list of events. Applewood Smoked BBQ noon-5pm. . Live music in the Orchard Barn from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm. Corn Maze open & Train Rides to the Orchard 1-5 pm. Apple Picking, Petting Zoo, & Pumpkin picking.

Saturday, September 27thSaturday is the first day for Michigan's 28th annual Pumpkin Carrying Contest from 2 to 4 pm, come and see how many pumpkins your friends can load into your arms. Prizes for the winners are offered on Sunday only. Haunted Cider Mill, Haunted House for Kids, Haunted Orchard Hayride, Corn Maze and Train Rides to the Orchard from 1-5 pm. Apple Picking. Petting Zoo, & Pumpkin picking from 11 am- 6 pm.

Sunday, September 28thMichigan's 28th annual Pumpkin Carrying Contest from 2 to 4 pm, come and see how many pumpkins your friends can load into your arms. The top man and the top woman to carry the most pumpkins on Sunday will receive prizes.   Haunted Cider Mill, Haunted House for Kids, Haunted Orchard Hayride and Train Rides to the Orchard from 1-5 pm. Apple Picking, Petting Zoo, Corn Maze, & Pumpkin picking from 11 am- 6 pm.

Sunday, October 19th: Haunted Cider Mill from 1pm-5pm, Haunted House for Kids. Also, Apple Picking, Corn Maze and Petting Zoo. Pumpkin picking from 11 am- 6 pm.

Saturday, October 25th: Haunted Cider Mill, Haunted House for Kids, Corn Maze, Train Rides to the Orchard and William Tell Crossbow Competition from 1-5 pm. Apple Picking, Petting Zoo, & Pumpkin picking from 9 am- 6 pm.

Sunday, October 26th: PICK A PECK FOR PEOPLE!  God has blessed us with apples to harvest.  From 1-5 pm come pick a bag of apples for those in need and receive a complimentary hayride or corn maze ticket.  This event is free of charge.  All apples picked are donated to the Mid-Michigan Food Bank and the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank who will have a truck on hand to haul away all the apples that you pick.  This is a great family or group event.  From 1-5pm you can enjoy the Haunted Cider Mill, Haunted House for Kids, Corn Maze, Train Rides to the Orchard. Apple Picking, Petting Zoo, & Pumpkin picking from 11 am. - 6 pm.

Sunday, November 16th: THANKSGIVING PIE EARLY BIRD ORDERS DUE 11 am. - 6 pm. Pre-pay for your holiday pies and receive 10% off by this date.

Saturday & Sunday November 22nd & 23rd: In appreciation of your business, we invite you to come and visit our Lionel Train Layout from 12- 4 pm for free. It runs at the top of the hour. This is the last weekend for fresh cider and donuts. ENJOY!

Wednesday, November 26th, THANKSGIVING PIE PICKUP, 9 am- 6 pm. Pick up your holiday pies. Merdian Farmer's Market from 10am - 2pm.

Thanksgiving - Christmas: Market is open on Saturdays with Apple Wine, Hard Cider, frozen sweet cider, frozen baked goods, DocCherry and unique gifts. The bakery is closed until August. Feel free to call us if you need something.

Christmas - July 31st: Weddings, Receptions and Special Events!  The Farm Market is closed during this time, but Apple Wine, Hard Cider, frozen sweet cider, DocCherry, and other market items are available by appointment please call or email.  Thank you.
